Who we are

I’m Amanda, the owner of Limestone Ledgers—a Kingston-based bookkeeping service focused on helping small business owners stay organized, informed, and in control of their numbers.

Before becoming a bookkeeper, I spent 20 years working as a Chef. While I enjoyed the kitchen, I quickly realized that where I really thrived was behind the scenes—managing food and labour costs, ordering, working with suppliers, and understanding the numbers that keep a business running.

In 2020, I made the decision to step away from the kitchen and formally pursue accounting and bookkeeping. I completed my Accounting and Bookkeeping certificates through St. Lawrence College, and gained hands-on experience working under and learning from an experienced local bookkeeper.

Today, I bring that same operational mindset into my work—keeping your books organized, your numbers clear, and your reporting meaningful. Because good bookkeeping isn’t just about staying compliant—it’s about understanding your business and making confident decisions.

As Limestone Ledgers continues to grow, I’ve recently incorporated and am beginning to expand the team—so I can continue to provide the same level of care and consistency while supporting more local businesses.
